Garden vases and the influence of nature

All our cast iron garden vases are cast in shape, the moment untreated vases come into contact with the moist outside air, the rusting process also begins.
Rust is iron that is bonded with oxygen. The bond between iron and oxygen in the presence of water creates oxidized iron. Rust has a reddish brown color and is a mixture that consists of iron oxide and hydroxyl groups. The term rust is a term that is used quite generally for the corrosion of iron-containing alloys such as cast iron.
The vases then get their weathered patina, which gives the vase a dark color.
